President Shavkat Mirziyoyev of Uzbekistan and President Ukhnaagiin Khurelsukh of Mongolia have concluded talks aimed at bolstering bilateral relations and expanding multifaceted cooperation between their nations. The discussions, which took place amidst the first state visit of President Khurelsukh to Uzbekistan, marked a pivotal moment in the historical ties between the two countries.

President Khurelsukh expressed appreciation for the warm reception and underscored the visit as a cornerstone in the advancement of Uzbekistan-Mongolia relations. President Mirziyoyev, in turn, welcomed his Mongolian counterpart and highlighted the inauguration of Mongolia's embassy in Tashkent as a testament to the strengthening bilateral engagements.

Key outcomes of the talks included a commitment to intensify political dialogue, enhance economic collaboration, and foster cultural exchanges.

The discussions centered around agreeing on a new Medium-Term Industrial Cooperation Program, emphasizing sectors such as geological exploration, agriculture, and high-value manufacturing. Plans were outlined for joint ventures in livestock production, meat processing, and agricultural exports, emphasizing adherence to "Halal" standards and regional market expansion.

Furthermore, the leaders agreed to facilitate private sector involvement through support for business initiatives and the establishment of a Business Council to nurture commercial ties.

The cultural and educational dimensions of the relationship were also highlighted, with plans for academic exchanges, cultural events, and the promotion of tourism under the existing visa-free regime.

In terms of infrastructure and connectivity, agreements were reached to explore direct flights between Tashkent and Ulaanbaatar and to optimize transport corridors through joint analysis with neighboring countries.

President Mirziyoyev accepted President Khurelsukh's invitation for a reciprocal visit to Mongolia.

The talks concluded with both leaders instructing their governments to draft a detailed roadmap for the timely implementation of the agreed initiatives, reflecting a shared commitment to deepen and diversify the Uzbekistan-Mongolia partnership across all spheres of cooperation.
