Several Chinese electronics and electrical appliance manufacturers have expressed keen interest in establishing production facilities in Uzbekistan. The initiative was unveiled during a working visit by representatives of the Uzbek Association for the Development of Electronics Industry, Uzeltehsanoat, who are currently engaged in negotiations with various Chinese companies.
During the meeting, the Uzbek delegation proposed the establishment of a joint venture focused on the production of modern electronics. This proposal was presented to various Chinese companies, including Hangzhou Xieneng Tech, JinkoSolar, Yeestor, ZWAIN New Energy, Ucreate, and CLOU, each specializing in different segments of the electronics and electrical industry.
Further, representatives from CLOU, a manufacturer of energy-saving equipment, expressed interest in cooperation. Both CLOU and its parent group, Midea, presented collaboration proposals.
The Suzhou Industrial Park, established in 1994 through collaboration with Singapore, has emerged as a significant economic player with a gross domestic product of $48.4 bn. Hosting nearly 2,500 companies, including those in the medical equipment and nanomaterials sectors.
