Power International, the Qatari national holding, is set to embark on a major project by constructing a multi-network hospital in Tashkent, as reported by the Dunyo.
Discussions between the Uzbek Embassy in Doha and Power International Holding's subsidiary, Elegancia Healthcare, outlined plans for the hospital's construction. The Qatari company is expected to finalize primary documentation by the end of January and commence the development of a feasibility study in March.
Power International Holding, with plans to establish an office in Uzbekistan, has an extensive agenda that includes road construction, a multi-network hospital complex, and hotels in Bukhara, Samarkand, and Tashkent.
Furthermore, the holding company is exploring projects in the realm of "green" energy and aims to initiate ammonia and urea production in the Navoi region. Currently, Power International Holding is actively involved in constructing a state-of-the-art livestock cluster near Jizzakh.
Earlier Daryo reported that advancing diplomatic relations and economic cooperation, Tanzila Narbaeva, Chairperson of the Senate of the Oliy Majlis of Uzbekistan, met with Dr. Ahmed bin Nasser Ibrahim Al-Fadala, Secretary-General of Qatar's Shura Council. The talks focused on expanding collaboration and strengthening interparliamentary ties.
