In a meeting at the presidential palace, President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev welcomed Abylkair Skakov, the Chairman of the Board of the Social Health Insurance Fund, to discuss the profound impacts of the social health insurance system in Kazakhstan, Akorda reported. As per the report, healthcare funding has seen a remarkable 2.5-fold increase, while the cost of health per resident has doubled.
