As part of the "Safe Movement" social project, employees from the insurance company "Gross," the National Marketplace "Vineyard Market," and the Tashkent Road Safety Service distributed shopper bags with pedestrian crossing signs and reflective elements to students at Special School No. 106 in Tashkent.
They also conducted a road safety lesson for the students. A total of 373 school students received these bags, courtesy of the shopper initiative and the Youth Agency.
This initiative aims to increase road safety awareness. Drivers are alerted to the presence of children, and informed young pedestrians, who are already familiar with road safety rules, become more cautious when crossing streets. Residents from all regions of the country will have the opportunity to purchase these shopper bags on the National Marketplace "Vineyard Market."
Daria Votchel, a representative of the insurance company Gross, emphasized the importance of promoting road safety, particularly for pedestrians. She highlighted the creation of reflective shopper bags designed to improve pedestrian visibility, especially at night.
Ensuring road safety is a collective responsibility. Gaharon Khudoiberganov, the Chief of the Press Service for the Traffic Police Department in Tashkent, pointed out that it is essential for both drivers and pedestrians to adhere strictly to road safety rules. In Uzbekistan, even preschool educational institutions teach the fundamentals of road safety. These initiatives help children gain vital knowledge and acquaint them with road safety regulations.
Everyone's commitment to adhering to road safety regulations is crucial in preventing road accidents. Ilshat Khametov, the CEO of Vizum Market, expressed active support for projects aimed at imparting essential knowledge to children and creating a safer environment for the younger generation. Thanks to their collective project, thousands of children and adults throughout the country will receive a clear reminder to use pedestrian crossings and for drivers to exercise greater caution.
