In Tyumen, Russia, a citizen of Kyrgyzstan has been apprehended by the Federal Security Service (FSB) on charges related to the creation of an illicit mechanism for legitimizing foreign nationals, according to a statement released by the Russian FSB's press service.
This operation involved a man from Russia and a woman from Kyrgyzstan who were offering unlawful immigrants from countries within the Eurasian Economic Union (EEU) the opportunity for unauthorized residency in the Russian Federation. Their method involved the creation of counterfeit labor contracts, with the goal of granting these individuals the right to reside in Russia under a simplified procedure applied to EEU citizens engaged in labor activities.
Following this, the falsified documents were passed on to the management of a trade and construction company to facilitate the generation of counterfeit labor contracts and notifications for the Migration Authority.
Investigative authorities have initiated a criminal case against the woman involved, charging her with "Organizing the illegal stay of foreign citizens on the territory of the Russian Federation with the involvement of a group of individuals."
