"Inkuzart" paints new artwork highlighting reckless water wastage

The street artist known as Inkuzart, often hailed as the "Banksy of Tashkent," has unveiled his latest thought-provoking work, shedding light on the issue of reckless water wastage.

The artwork, situated on the corner of a building, comprises two distinct parts displayed on separate walls. In the first part, a water faucet releases a stream of water onto a watermelon, depicting a common practice in Uzbekistan.

The second part portrays a young boy stooping down to drink this water, which takes on a golden hue.

Inkuzart is renowned not only for this piece but also for his previous graffiti artworks that address the automobile market monopoly in Uzbekistan, specifically the long queues for vehicles from UzAuto Motors. His portfolio includes portraits of notable figures like Abdullah Qadiri, Chulpan, and Abdurauf Fitrat.

In addition to his exploration of economic themes, Inkuzart is a prominent street artist based in the capital city, celebrated for his creation of socially relevant and thought-provoking graffiti. His art often delves into subjects such as societal divisions, peace, and the diverse perspectives that shape our world.

One of his most notable pieces features stereoscopic portraits of Russian President Vladimir Putin and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, symbolizing the intricate dynamics of contemporary geopolitics.

The artist signed his work briefly in two languages - Russian and Ukrainian: "Who's right or wrong depends on which side you're looking from.
