As per to reports from the security personnel of the region, the culprit behind this heinous crime is identified as Muhammad, who, following the murder, fled the area.

Earlier Daryo reported that on June 8, an explosion occurred at the Nabawi mosque in Faizabad, Badakhshan province, Afghanistan, resulting in the tragic deaths of at least 11 people and causing injuries to over 30 others. The Taliban's spokesperson, Abdul Nafi Takor, acknowledged the casualties, explaining that the explosion specifically targeted the mosque during a memorial event. Among those who lost their lives were two former Taliban police officials, and among the wounded was Safiullah Samim, the former police commander of northern Baghlan province.
