11-year-old wonderkid Adrian Li from Barnet, London, has achieved an exceptional feat by scoring 162 on the Mensa IQ test, surpassing the renowned geniuses Stephen Hawking and Albert Einstein, who were believed to have scored 160. Adrian's impressive score places him in the top one percent globally and qualifies him for membership in the prestigious Mensa Society, which is limited to the top two percent of the population in terms of intelligence, reported Mirror on July 24.
Adrian's remarkable abilities have been evident since early childhood, with his mother, Rachel, noting signs of his exceptional intelligence from a young age. He displayed advanced reading skills, pronouncing complex words like "university" with perfect pronunciation at the age of two, despite not comprehending their meaning. Adrian's passion for books has been evident since he was two years old, and he reads multiple books every day. By kindergarten, he was already reading the "full text" version of his favourite Star Wars books.
His enthusiasm for learning extended to writing, and at the age of eight, Adrian began crafting novels, creating an exciting adventurous series named the "Monster Quest." Presently, he is working on a novel about Ancient Rome, aiming for publication by autumn.
Adrian's academic achievements have been duly recognized with several awards during his time in primary school. He excels in tests and exams, finding a sense of achievement and pride in his academic prowess.
Set to join Queen Elizabeth's School in Barnet in September, Adrian looks forward to meeting other boys with similar talents. Apart from his intellectual pursuits, he is involved in various activities, including chess, squash, fencing, skiing, table tennis, taekwondo, and rowing.
