The sister of the leader of the DPRK, the deputy head of the Central Committee of the North Korean Workers' Party, Kim Yo-jong says that the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, is putting his country at risk in a conflict with Russia.
In this way, Kim Yo Jong responded to a petition on the Ukrainian president's website calling for the US to place nuclear weapons on its territory or to create its own nuclear arsenal. She said that the petition was "the result of a cunning political maneuver by Zelensky's officials, despite the validity of the public opinion."
"It is well known that Ukrainian officials have spoken openly about their nuclear ambitions several times, including at the 2022 Munich Security Conference, when Zelensky announced his intention to restore the country's nuclear weapons status," the DPRK official said.
She noted that the Ukrainian authorities "suffer from incurable megalomania" and allegedly intend to seize power over Russia.
"Zelensky's rhetoric about joining the US nuclear arsenal and developing his own nuclear arsenal is a very dangerous political ambition, which means risking the fate of his country and people in order to save his own skin," says Kim Yo-jong.
The sister of the leader of the DPRK said that the Ukrainian authorities have "no political sensitivity" and are leading "their people to destruction". Kim Yo-jong said that the Ukrainian authorities want to get rid of the "powerful fire of Russia" under the "nuclear umbrella of the United States", and in the DPRK this is considered the "last" way for Ukraine.
