The External Labor Migration Agency called on Uzbeks working in Russia to be aware of advertisements about the delivery of goods via the Internet for a large sum of money.
According to reports, some Uzbek compatriots working in Russia were engaged in illegitimate delivery aware or unaware of the delivery content. Drug gangs offer to transport and hide narcotics drugs or prohibited substances. As a result, they are caught and prosecuted by police officers.
"We ask our compatriots not to work in unofficial courier services, not to deliver suspicious items and always check the product. According to the Russian penal code, a drug deliverer may be sentenced to a long-term prison," the agency said.
