During the past 5 years in Uzbekistan, a total of 1,277 urban planning documents for cities, towns and rural settlements, including 190 master plans, and 1,087 villages' detailed planning projects were developed. In 2022 alone, architectural documents for 140 settlements were adopted.
The Uzbek government formed a program for the development of the master plan of cities, towns, villages and villages for 2023-2027 which aims to develop the master plan of 19 cities and 222 towns, the master plan of 184 regions and the master plan of 504 villages.
The decision of the President of October 25, 2022 "On additional measures to further improve the infrastructure of neighbourhoods in 2022-2023" plans to carry out construction and repair work in 6007 social spheres and infrastructure facilities in 5284 neighbourhoods.
