An installation of 505.6 kW solar photovoltaic unit at the Tashkent TPP has recently kicked off which should produce 1 million kWh of electricity per year saving 100,000 cubic meters of natural gas per year.
Last year, 12 solar water heaters with a total capacity of 2,400 liters were put into operation, which saves 77 Gcal of thermal energy per year.
