President Mirziyoyev visited Bukhara region to initiate new business ideas.
The head of state said that in 2023, 703 new business entities worth 880 million dollars will attract 15 thousand of workers in the near future to the region.
The head of state noted that the industry of Qarovulbazar did not even reach 1 trillion soums. There is potential to produce products worth 200 billion soums per year by attracting investment of 100 million dollars to 4 large mineral deposits in the district, such as decorative stones, gypsum and limestone.
Although 42,000 tons of cotton are grown in the 4th category Jondor district, there is not a single textile enterprise. This district also has enough potential to implement at least 2 projects like in Shafirkon.
"If the district governor creates conditions for business by lending land and loans, it will be possible to launch more than 100 small projects worth 20 million dollars in two months. In this regard, an area of more than 20 hectares has been allocated for industrial zones," Shavkat Mirziyoyev said.
