In January-October 2022, Uzbekistan imported food products from 106 countries worth $2.8bn. According to the State Statistics Committee, this figure is almost 40% higher than last year.
The main food supplier to Uzbekistan remains Kazakhstan with a share of 36.2% of the total supply. The Central Asian country's top 5 suppliers include:
Russia - 24.1 %;
Brazil - 14.7 %;
Belarus - 4.3 %;
Pakistan - 2.0 %.
