"Dunyo" news agency reports that the leadership of the International Agricultural University of Uzbekistan (IAUU) held talks with the representatives of the German Weihenstephan-Triesdorf University of Applied Sciences.
The German University was established in 1971 in the federal state of Bavaria. It prepares specialists in agricultural training programs and the international master's course "Agrarian Management", and cooperates with more than 60 educational institutions around the world.
As a result of the negotiations, IAUU students will be sent to Germany's Weihenstephan-Triesdorf University of Applied Sciences for master's studies on a voluntary basis, as well as German experience in the field of animal husbandry and horticulture in cooperation with a German university. IAUU reached an agreement to organize training courses for the state and private agriculture sector specialists.
The Uzbek delegation also visited German agricultural enterprises, and farms specializing in livestock and dairy production.
