On July 8, Shavkat Mirziyoyev sent his condolences to Emperor Naruhito and Prime Minister Fumio Kishida in connection with the untimely death of former Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe as a result of an assassination attempt, the press secretary of the President reports.
It is noted that Mr Abe's strategic programs and innovative initiatives contributed to Japan's sustainable development and strengthened the country's role in international relations and the world economy. It was noted that the personal services of the great statesman in the development of multifaceted relations between Uzbekistan and Japan, and consistent and effective expansion of strategic partnership ties are always highly appreciated.
The head of state also expressed deep condolences to the deceased's family members.
