Large enterprises in Uzbekistan produced beverages worth UZS 15.2 trillion (over $1.2bn) during the first half of 2026, marking an 11.1% increase compared to the same period last year, according to the National Statistics Committee.
The committee reported that beverage production continued to expand during the January–June period, with Tashkent city remaining the country's largest production center.
According to the data, enterprises in Tashkent city produced beverages worth UZS 9.3 trillion (around $780mn), accounting for the largest share of national output. Tashkent region ranked second with UZS 2.4 trillion (over $200mn), followed by Khorezm region with UZS 1.1 trillion (over $90mn).
Other major producing regions included Samarkand, where beverage production reached UZS 727.4bn (over $60mn), and Namangan with UZS 674.7bn (around $56mn). Bukhara region recorded production valued at UZS 268.9bn (over $22mn).
In Karakalpakstan, large enterprises produced beverages worth UZS 220.1bn (over $18mn), while Kashkadarya and Fergana regions recorded production of UZS 116.3bn (around $10mn) and UZS 112.6bn (over $9mn), respectively.
Production volumes were lower in several other regions. Andijan produced beverages worth UZS 92.2bn (over $7mn), Syrdarya UZS 91.1bn (around $7.6mn), Surkhandarya UZS 77.1bn (over $6mn), Jizzakh UZS 37.8bn (over $3mn), and Navoi UZS 13.3bn (around $1mn).
The latest figures indicate continued growth in the sector during 2026. According to the Statistics Committee, large enterprises produced beverages worth UZS 11.6 trillion (over $970mn) during the first five months of the year, representing annual growth of 11.3%. The January–June results show that production continued to increase into the second quarter of the year.
