Ilzat Kasimov, Deputy Minister of Investment, Industry, and Trade of Uzbekistan, held a meeting on March 19, with representatives of Anhui Conch New Energy, a subsidiary of the Anhui Conch Group, to discuss expanding cooperation in the renewable energy sector.
Anhui Conch New Energy, part of the Chinese conglomerate Anhui Conch Group, specializes in the development and construction of renewable energy projects and holds 159 technological patents. The company has experience constructing 148 power plants across various countries.
During the discussions, both parties highlighted the success of Anhui Conch Group’s ongoing projects in Uzbekistan, particularly in the production of construction materials in different regions of the country. The focus of the meeting was on increasing investment cooperation, with particular attention to the development of initiatives in the field of green energy.
Following the meeting, an agreement was reached to move forward with the practical implementation of the plans discussed, as well as to strengthen the technological partnership between Uzbekistan and Anhui Conch New Energy.
Earlier Daryo reported that Deputy Minister Kasimov met with LEO Group Chairman Wang Xianjun to discuss investment projects in modern pumping equipment, water management infrastructure, PPP-based pumping stations, and the creation of a technopark for advanced engineering solutions.
