Uzbekistan presented domestically produced drones, counter-drone systems and military equipment at the World Defense Show 2026 in Riyadh, one of the largest global defense technology exhibitions, bringing together nearly 800 companies from more than 70 countries.
Three Uzbek companies participated in the exhibition, representing unmanned aerial systems, electronic warfare technologies and dual-use defense products. The event highlighted Uzbekistan’s growing presence in the international defense technology market.
Sahro Drone Industry presents tactical UAV portfolio
Sahro Drone Industry, established in 2025, showcased a range of military and civilian unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs). Among them was the Lochin HA-341(M2), a vertical take-off and landing drone capable of operating without runways or catapults. The UAV has an operational radius of 50 km, a flight endurance of two hours and a maximum altitude of 4,500 meters.
The drone is designed for border monitoring, reconnaissance, artillery fire adjustment and search-and-rescue missions. It is equipped with a control station, optical sensors, thermal imaging for night missions and protection against dust and water under international standards.
The company also presented the Lochin HA-251 hexacopter, designed for tactical strike operations. The drone can carry up to 10 kg of payload for 30 minutes, with a combat radius of 5 km and a maximum altitude of 5,000 meters. Additional models displayed included the Lochin HA-241 series and Sahro HN-1, the latter powered by a jet engine and used as an aerial defense training target.
EAS Dome integrates multi-layer counter-drone systems
Electronic Autonomous Solutions (EAS), founded in 2022, presented its latest modular counter-drone system, EAS Dome. The complex integrates detection, classification and electronic neutralization technologies into a single platform.
The system can simultaneously identify threats, process large data volumes and distinguish between friendly and hostile drones. If electronic countermeasures prove ineffective, interceptor drones can be deployed to neutralize unidentified UAVs.
The container-based system can operate as a stationary installation or be mounted on a truck for mobility. Artificial intelligence is integrated into the platform to reduce response times, and the system can function autonomously or under operator supervision. Portable systems such as EAS-1 Fowler and EAS-2 Air Fender were also presented, capable of neutralizing drones within a 1–1.5 km range.
Innovation Technologies Center expands military production
The Innovation Technologies Center represented Uzbekistan with nearly 100 types of military and dual-use products supplied to national security structures. Its portfolio includes optical equipment, ballistic protection systems, tactical gear and electronic warfare solutions.
Under its Mergan brand, the company showcased sighting devices, collimators, laser rangefinders, night vision systems and thermal imaging technologies. Optical systems were presented as integral components for reconnaissance, targeting and operational accuracy.
The company also manufactures protective helmets, ballistic vests, armor plates and tactical equipment, covering the full production chain from raw materials to finished goods.
Uzbekistan’s participation at World Defense Show 2026 follows its presence at IDEX 2025 in Abu Dhabi, where it presented NATO-standard armored vehicles and weapon systems, underscoring efforts to expand its defense industry footprint in international markets.
