The average monthly nominal salary in Uzbekistan reached UZS 6.2mn ($512) in January–September 2025, marking a 19.2% increase compared to the same period last year, according to the National Statistics Committee.
As in previous years, Tashkent city recorded the highest wages, averaging UZS 10.3mn ($850)—up 18.7% from 2024. It was followed by Navoi region (UZS 7.6mn ($627)), Tashkent region (UZS 5.8mn ($479)), Andijan region (UZS 4.9mn ($405)), and Bukhara region (UZS 4.9mn ($405)).
The lowest average monthly wages were observed in Namangan (UZS 4.5mn ($372)), Surkhandarya (UZS 4.3mn ($355)), and Kashkadarya (UZS 4.2mn ($347)) regions.
By sector, the most significant wage growth was recorded in arts, entertainment, and recreation, where salaries surged 122.8% year-on-year to UZS 5.1mn ($421). The education sector also saw notable gains, with average salaries rising 19.8% to UZS 4.1mn ($339).

- Banking, insurance, and finance: UZS 16.8mn ($1,387) (+15.6%)
- Transportation and storage: UZS 9.3mn ($768) (+16.7%)
- Industry: UZS 7.3mn ($603) (+16.3%)
- Trade: UZS 6.9mn ($569) (+12.1%)
- Construction: UZS 6.3mn ($520) (+9.2%)
- Accommodation and catering: UZS 5.1mn ($421) (+10.1%)
- Healthcare and social services: UZS 3.8mn ($314) (+14.6%)
