British company Skytrax recognised Kazakhstan's airlines, Air Astana and FlyArystan, as two of the world's top 100 airlines for 2024. Air Astana, known for its full-service operations, secured the 38th position in the global ranking. Meanwhile, its low-cost subsidiary, FlyArystan, ranked 100th, making it to the list for the first time.
Air Astana was ranked first in the Skytrax ranking for airlines from the CIS and Central Asia, followed by Azerbaijan's state-owned airline AZAL in second place, and FlyArystan in third. The top three airlines in the world according to Skytrax for 2024 are Qatar Airways, Singapore Airlines, and Emirates, holding the first, second, and third positions respectively.

The World Airline Awards, initiated in 1999, are renowned as the Oscars of the Aviation Industry, based on a global survey of airline customer satisfaction. The 2023-2024 survey, conducted online from September 2023 to May 2024, involved over 21 mn respondents from more than 100 nationalities, covering over 350 airlines.
