The President of Mongolia, Ukhnaagiin Khürelsükh, accompanied by his wife, Luvsandorj Bolortsetseg, arrived in Uzbekistan on June 23 for a state visit scheduled to last until June 26. This visit is at the invitation of the President of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev.
Prime Minister Abdulla Aripov, along with other Uzbek officials, welcomed President Khürelsükh and his delegation at Tashkent International Airport. After a brief conversation, President Khürelsükh and his spouse proceeded to the next destination on their itinerary.
During the visit, President Khürelsükh is expected to engage in discussions aimed at enhancing bilateral cooperation between Mongolia and Uzbekistan. The agenda includes talks on economic collaboration, trade, cultural exchanges, and regional security.
The visit aims to explore new opportunities for cooperation in various sectors, such as mining, agriculture, and tourism. The discussions are expected to result in agreements to boost trade and investment between the two countries.
In addition to formal meetings, the visit will include cultural and diplomatic activities to promote mutual understanding and strengthen connections between Mongolia and Uzbekistan.
