Uzbekistan gears up for III Tashkent International Investment Forum with 2,500 participants
Preparations are in full swing for the III Tashkent International Investment Forum. From its modest beginnings in 2022, the forum has seen remarkable growth, with this year's edition expecting to host nearly 2,500 participants from 84 countries, presidential press service reported on April 29.
Under the guidance of President Shavkat Mirziyoyev, efforts have been made to ensure the forum's success. Organizational measures led by the Ministry of Investment, Industry, and Trade (MIIT), in collaboration with other ministries, aim to showcase Uzbekistan's economic potential and facilitate mutually beneficial agreements.
The forum's agenda includes over 40 events, providing ample opportunities for participants to explore investment prospects across various industries and regions. Additionally, ceremonial launches for several projects within the country will underscore Uzbekistan's commitment to innovation and development.
President Mirziyoyev's emphasis on impeccable organization reflects Uzbekistan's dedication to attracting investment and fostering sustainable growth. The forum also includes the second plenary session of the Council of Foreign Investors under the President of Uzbekistan, addressing key issues in investment climate enhancement and project implementation.
Set to occur on May 2-3, 2024, in Uzbekistan's dynamic capital, the III Tashkent International Investment Forum (TIIF-III) is poised to be a significant convergence point for investors, policymakers, and industry frontrunners worldwide.
