The meeting saw the participation of parliamentary deputies from Azerbaijan, Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, Tajikistan, and Uzbekistan, along with representatives from scientific and expert communities. Sergei Kasanin, Deputy General Director for Scientific Work at the Joint Institute for Informatics Problems of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus, presented information on the progress of the document.
The primary objective behind drafting this legislation is to establish consistent regulations governing public interactions concerning AI usage. These regulations are intended to enhance people's lives, ensure safety, and foster economic and social development through the advancement, integration, and utilization of AI technologies.
