ADM Jizzakh, an automobile manufacturing company, has announced its ambition to capture a market share of at least 25%, Katipal reported citing company's general director, Daniyar Davletiyarov.
Davletiyarov emphasized the company's commitment to expanding its foothold in the automotive industry by investing in workforce training and the creation of new job opportunities. He expressed optimism about the potential economic benefits that achieving this goal could bring to Uzbekistan.
The company's journey towards this target is underscored by its origins. ADM Jizzakh's automobile plant, located in the Jizzakh region, was constructed entirely by local specialists and companies, without the involvement of foreign design organizations or engineers, according to Davletiyarov.
Currently, ADM Jizzakh produces vehicles under several renowned brands, including Haval, Chery, and Kia, utilizing the Semi Knocked Down (SKD) method. The company manufactures a total of 18 car models, including commercial vehicles, reflecting its diverse product portfolio.
In 2023, UzAuto Motors dominated the Uzbekistan automotive market, securing an 81% share by producing 369,990 cars valued at $4.85bn. ADM Jizzakh, in comparison, held a 5.5% share, with the remainder originating from imports, including notable contributions from Chinese brand BYD.
Established on January 23, 2020, ADM Jizzakh was founded by the Roodell company and its owners: Mirbakhrom Asrorov (33.4%), Daniyar Davletiyarov (33.3%), and Murod-Mirza Sharipov (33.3%).
