Uzbekistan welcomes Zara: flagship store and online launch marks arrival
Zara, the renowned fashion retailer, has officially made its debut in Uzbekistan with the opening of its first flagship store at Tashkent City Mall, on February 29. Spanning an impressive 2,500 square meters across two commercial units, the store offers a comprehensive range of fashion collections for women, men, and kids. Designed by Zara Architectural Studio, the interiors boast a sleek and modern aesthetic, complemented by hints of warmth and color from wooden furniture and textiles.
Integrated Fashion Experience
With a focus on providing an integrated shopping experience, Zara's flagship store incorporates cutting-edge technological tools. Customers can seamlessly transition between in-store and online shopping through the newly launched online platform, Zara.com/uz. This innovative approach ensures that customers have access to the latest Zara products, with new arrivals hitting the shelves twice a week.
Online Platform Launch
Zara's online platform in Uzbekistan, accessible through Zara.com/uz, offers customers a convenient and user-friendly shopping experience. From the comfort of their homes, customers can browse and purchase items from Zara's extensive collections, with the option of home delivery or in-store pickup. The platform also features the 'Store Mode' functionality, allowing customers to locate items in-store and order them for collection within two hours via the Zara app.
Delivery Options and Returns Policy
Customers can choose from a variety of delivery options, including standard delivery with free shipping on orders over a certain amount. For those opting for home delivery, Zara offers a standard delivery service with a nominal fee. Additionally, the exchange and return policy applies uniformly to both in-store and online purchases, allowing customers to return unworn items within a 30-day period for a refund.
Eco-Efficiency Initiatives
Zara operates under Inditex, a globally recognized fashion retail conglomerate that also owns Pull&Bear, Massimo Dutti, Bershka, Stradivarius, Oysho, and Zara Home. Zara's journey began in 1975 with the inauguration of its inaugural store in A Coruña, Spain. Presently, its collections are accessible across an integrated network of physical outlets and online platforms spanning more than 200 countries. Emphasizing continuous innovation, Zara offers trendy clothing options for women, men, and children, all while prioritizing customer satisfaction. Both Zara and Inditex are committed to achieving carbon neutrality by 2040.
