As anticipation builds for the third installment of the Tashkent International Investment Forum (TIIF), organizers have announced that registration is officially open for the highly anticipated event, the Ministry of Investment, Industry and Trade of Uzbekistan reported. Scheduled to take place on May 2-3, 2024, in the vibrant capital city of Uzbekistan, TIIF-III promises to be a pivotal gathering for investors, policymakers, and industry leaders from around the globe.
TIIF has emerged as a cornerstone event not only for Uzbekistan but also for the wider region, showcasing the burgeoning opportunities and transformative potential of Central Asia's largest economy. The forum's comprehensive program features a plenary session at the highest levels of government, alongside more than 50 expert-led discussions, including panel sessions, round tables, and business-to-business negotiations.
With a diverse array of topics on the agenda, participants can expect to delve into specific investment cases, explore the latest industry trends across numerous sectors, and evaluate promising opportunities for growth and collaboration. Of particular focus will be the presentation of Uzbekistan's vast investment potential, highlighting the country's steady economic growth and its evolution into a premier investment hub in the heart of Central Asia.
Building on the success of previous editions, TIIF-2022 and TIIF-2023, which drew thousands of attendees from across the globe, organizers anticipate an even larger turnout for TIIF-2024. In 2022, over 2,000 investors and dignitaries from 56 countries convened, resulting in investment agreements totaling $7.8bn. TIIF-2023 saw participation grow to 2,500 individuals from 70 countries, with signed agreements amounting to $11bn.
For the forthcoming TIIF-2024, organizers are gearing up for a truly global gathering, with participants expected from every corner of the planet. Online registration is now open on the official forum website, www.iift.uz, and will remain accessible until April 25, 2024.
