The Almalyk Mining and Metallurgical Combine (AMMC) has fulfilled the forecast targets for the production of marketable products for January 2024, surpassing expectations by 127.0% and exporting products worth $31.1mn, the mine's press service reports.
Achievement of Export Targets
In addition to meeting production goals, AMMC achieved export targets for January 2024. The company exported products worth $31.1mn, exceeding forecasts by 103.2%. Noteworthy exports include 24,054 tons of copper products, 964 tons of zinc products, 381 tons of copper sulfate, and 72 tons of molybdenum products, demonstrating AMMC's ability to meet international demand with quality products.
Exemplary Performance Across Various Operations
AMMC's success extends across different facets of its operations. The ore mining task set by the Kalmakyr mine management was completed at 102%, with an impressive growth rate of 127.3%. Similarly, the processing of copper raw materials saw a growth rate of +105.5%, with the team at the copper concentration plant-2 notably exceeding expectations at 113.5%.
Meeting Key Production Targets
Critical production targets were met with precision. The production of copper cathode, AMMC's primary product, reached 100%, demonstrating the company's ability to maintain consistency in its core offerings. Moreover, targets for copper and zinc production from internal sources were achieved, further solidifying AMMC's operational reliability.
Comprehensive Performance in Mineral Extraction and Processing
The labor collectives at various mine administrations showcased remarkable performance in mineral extraction and processing tasks. The Khandiza mine administration excelled in tasks related to polymetallic ore extraction (103.9%), processing (101.3%), and zinc concentrate quality (105.8%). Similarly, employees at Angren, Chadak, and Kauldy mines successfully completed tasks related to gold ore extraction and processing, meeting expectations for metal content in concentrates.
