In a move towards bolstering international business ties, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan, Muzaffar Madrahimov, conducted a strategic meeting with representatives from renowned global companies on January 25, MFA reported.
The key participants in the meeting included Adrian Steiner, the General Director of Thermoplan, and delegates from HP Inc. and Unitex Group. The visit of these industry leaders to Uzbekistan aimed to explore the potential for joint investment projects in the country.
During the meeting, Deputy Minister Madrahimov provided a comprehensive overview of Uzbekistan's investment climate and business environment. He highlighted the government's commitment to creating favorable conditions for the successful operation of foreign businesses, along with outlining various measures in place to support projects initiated by foreign investors.
The discussions revolved around priority areas of cooperation, exploring avenues for collaboration, and assessing the prospects of these foreign companies entering Uzbekistan's dynamic market.

The company, based in Weggis, Switzerland, achieved a breakthrough in 1999 by becoming the exclusive supplier of fully automatic coffee machines for a prominent American coffee house chain.
Thermoplan's success stems from its commitment to innovation. In 2017, they introduced the ThermoplanConnect telemetry system, a comprehensive digital platform enabling customers to monitor and analyze their coffee business remotely. The system facilitates the transfer of recipes, software updates, and individualized user interfaces to machines across the globe.
