The national movement "Yuksalish" has joined forces with the Institute of Socio-Economic Initiatives, backed by regional experts, to introduce the inaugural ranking of "Leading Women of Central Asia."
This groundbreaking initiative aims to spotlight women who have made substantial contributions across various sectors in the region, spanning politics, business, education, science, art, and social advocacy.
The compilation of candidates underwent a meticulous process, with the list subsequently presented to a regional expert group affiliated with the movement. Experts employed a comprehensive approach, utilizing both mathematical and empirical methods to evaluate the candidates.
During the initial phase of selection, candidates were assessed based on criteria such as the level of influence in decision-making, citation and recognition, and contributions to socio-political and economic initiatives, each carrying a designated point value.
Moving to the second stage, an online voting process unfolded, engaging approximately 300 regional experts. This diverse group includes human rights ombudsmen, leaders from prominent regional "think tanks," parliamentarians, academics, and representatives from civil society institutions and international organizations.
