The British Management University (BMU) in Tashkent has opened its new campus, located in Mirzo-Ulugbek District. BMU Opened its first branch in Uzbekistan in 2020 and now, its campus has been upgraded to 44,000 sqm
The commencement of BMU started with speeches and the rector, Konrad Ozog, asserted that the university is dedicated to providing high-quality education and will be nurturing Uzbekistan’s forthcoming leaders. BMU exhibits educational and administrative buildings, dormitories, sports facilities, a cafe, a bookstore, and co-working spaces, along with spaces created for individuals who have disabilities. The brand-new building that is equipped with modern technology can accommodate 5,000 students.
BMI provides students with accredited programs, which range from foundation programs to undergraduate and master's degrees. Graduates of BMU receive internationally recognized diplomas. Moreover, the university provides students with scholarships and exchange opportunities.

International universities are expanding and providing Uzbek students with various ranges of educational programs that can give students diverse global perspectives. Some prominent international universities in Tashkent include Westminster International University in Tashkent, which offers students British curriculums and has partnerships with the University of Westminster in the UK. Inha University in Tashkent (IUT), is a South Korean University that gives students to choose from various technology-oriented studies. Turin Polytechnic University in Tashkent (TPUT), additionally, provides engineering and technology programs and has partnerships with the Politecnico di Torino in Italy. Webster University, based in Missouri also has established its branch in Uzbekistan and offers students American curricular programs in the fields of Business, International relations, Economics, and so forth.
