The Chinese company plans to establish a cutting-edge technopark in the Syrdarya region. The project, estimated to cost $50 mn, will be implemented within the Yangior Free Economic Zone (FEZ) premises.
The technopark aims to specialize in the production of biotechnological products, according to a statement from the regional Khokimiyat's press service. Akmaljon Makhmudaliyev, the Khokim of Syrdarya region, discussed with Bovi Zhang, Director of the Technopark of High Technologies and Innovation at Tianjin University, regarding establishing the technopark in the area.
The project's estimated cost is $50 mn, which the Chinese company will invest. The technopark will be situated within the confines of the Yangior FEZ, a designated area for economic activities. Additionally, the project will incorporate the construction of logistics and customs centres spanning 10 hectares.
This ambitious undertaking is anticipated to generate around 500 employment opportunities, significantly boosting the local economy. Establishing the technopark is expected to foster technological advancement and innovation in the biotechnological sector within the region.
The collaboration between the Chinese company and the Syrdarya region signifies a promising step towards enhancing bilateral economic cooperation and promoting industry-specific expertise.
