In Uzbekistan, plans are underway to establish specialized educational centers aimed at providing young individuals with knowledge concerning ecology and agriculture in collaboration with Germany. This initiative was revealed by Temurbek Poyonov, the chairman of the Youth Union of Uzbekistan.
Poyonov says that these educational centers will be developed in partnership with Germany. Additional details were provided by the organization's press service, which disclosed that a meeting took place between the leadership of the German Sparkassenstiftung and the Youth Union of Uzbekistan.
Key figures, including the Central Council of the Youth Union of Uzbekistan and Inka Ryuk, the head of the Central Asia project at the German Sparkassenstiftung, along with other organization members, participated in the meeting. The discussion revolved around mutual cooperation on several promising projects.
In particular, the Youth Union of Uzbekistan and the German Sparkassenstiftung, a long-standing partner, reached an agreement to establish specialized educational centers in four regions of Uzbekistan by the end of the year. These centers aim to cultivate young people's interest in ecology and agriculture.
The organization's information service specified that these educational centers are being established in the Bukhara, Kashkadarya, Namangan, and Khorezm regions of the country. The curriculum will be conducted in modern classrooms equipped with all necessary facilities and will involve participation from international experts.
Furthermore, during the meeting, various other matters were deliberated, and future cooperative plans were outlined, as stated by Temur Poyonov.
The German Sparkassenstiftung, part of the German financial group, was founded in 1992 and is recognized for promoting the experiences and accomplishments of savings banks (Sparkasse) worldwide. Operating in more than 50 countries, the organization initiated its activities in Uzbekistan in 2003, working on diverse projects with entities such as the People's Bank, the Central Bank of Uzbekistan, the Women's Committee, and various state and non-state organizations.
