At an educational seminar held in Tashkent, it was announced that this year, 500 foreign "linguists" will be recruited to work in schools across the republic to teach foreign languages.
The Ministry of Preschool and School Education revealed that the seminar outlined new objectives for foreign language instruction. Considering the expansion of the new educational system to more schools, the plan is to bring in an additional 1,500 specialists next year.
During the Ministry-organized training sessions, discussions revolved around the educational standards for foreign language subjects, curricula, textbooks, and teaching approaches.
The training also covered topics such as the historical development, culture, and education system of Uzbekistan, the role of school education in economic growth, and the responsibilities of foreign experts in cultivating students' knowledge and skills in foreign subjects.
