According to the Statistics Agency, Uzbekistan exported 653.8 thousand tons of fruits and vegetables worth $409.4 mn from January to May 2023. This indicates a 21.9% increase compared to the same period last year.
The most popular products for export were beans ($43 million), cherries ($38.9 million), and onions ($31.7 million).
The main export markets for fruit and vegetable products were Russia ($151.8 mn), Pakistan ($73 mn), Kazakhstan ($53.7 mn), and China ($51.1 mn).
