The Department of Internal Affairs in the Kashkadarya region recently prevented the sale of almost 1 ton of inedible meat products.
The officers and employees from State Sanitary Epidemiological Service stopped a car traveling from Karshi to Tashkent and found 929 kg of meat products without the proper veterinary certificates. The meat products were deemed unfit for use and subsequently destroyed.
In 2022, 25.2 tons of meat and 21.2 tons of dairy products were also declared unfit for consumption and destroyed.
