Tamila Tasheva, Ukraine's Permanent Representative to the President in Crimea, told Ukrinform that when Crimea is liberated, Russian individuals who entered the region illegally will be removed from Ukraine individually, rather than collectively.
Tasheva blamed all Russian people for being "colonialists" who traveled to the seized land to change its demographic composition, calling them "partners in crime." Ukrainians who were forced to get Russian passports, on the other hand, are still considered Ukrainian nationals and will not be removed.
Tasheva highlighted that there is no international law that allows for the mass deportation of foreigners, consequently, each Russian native who is illegally residing in Crimea would be dealt with individually. Yet, Russian citizens who want to do so may acquire permission to live in Ukraine under current regulations, including repatriates, attorneys for political detainees, their relatives, and others who supported Ukraine but weren't granted Ukrainian citizenship prior to 2014.
Tasheva emphasized that only Russian citizens who have broken the rules of entry would be allowed to leave the peninsula, not the Crimean people.
