Uzbekistani man sexually assaulted a minor girl in St. Petersburg, Russia, 78.ru reports.
The case of sexual violence against a 10-year-old girl is being investigated in Kolpinsky district. On April 28, the unit on duty received a report that an unknown man sexually assaulted a 10-year-old girl in the area of the "Pyaterochka" store on Shkolnaya Street, Metallostroy village.
Arriving at the scene, the police arrested a 46-year-old citizen of Uzbekistan on suspicion of committing the crime. A statement was received from the victim's 42-year-old mother and a criminal case has been initiated. The man in question was placed in a temporary detention facility.
