At the Institute of Ion-Plasma and Laser Technologies, a new generation of the phototherapeutic device based on laser technologies and UV-light sources has been developed for use in dermatology clinical practice. This phototherapeutic device was used in the treatment of vitiligo and some forms of psoriasis at the Republican Skin and Genitourinary Clinical Hospital and at the private clinic "Dermatologist Saidkosim Arifov".
In the direction of import substitution, the Institute of Chemistry and Physics of Polymers developed the technology of highly purified carboxymethylcellulose and created a new brand of highly purified KMS. The production of the product was put into practice on the basis of the limited liability company "Promxim Impex" and the first pilot test batches were produced. The manufactured product was allowed to be used in food, pharmaceutical, and other industries.
