The US State Department has expanded anti-Russian sanctions, Khabar 24 reports.
The new list includes 120 legal companies and individuals from 20 countries who “contribute to circumventing previously imposed sanctions”.
Among the foreign organizations blacklisted are firms from China, Turkey, the United Arab Emirates and Uzbekistan. In particular, the United States imposed sanctions against the International Investment Bank, based in Budapest. The list includes 3 leaders of this organization.
David Pressman, US Ambassador to Hungary said that the presence of a suspicious Kremlin bank in the capital of Hungary, and individuals, threatens the security and sovereignty of NATO allies. For that, the Hungarian government would not allow sanctioned entities to use the international financial system.
