A 64-year-old father-in-law reportedly beat his daughter-in-law to unconsciousness in one of the districts of the Fergana region and then beheaded her. The court made a verdict against the man.
According to the report, this incident took place on October 1, 2022, in one of the apartments in the "Kumdon" neighborhood of the Koshtepa district. According to the case documents, the accused, who was born in this neighborhood of the district in 1958, quarreled with his youngest son's wife. During the fight, the woman was beaten by her father-in-law and fell to the ground after losing consciousness.
Taking advantage of the fact that there was no one at home, the man in question put his daughter-in-law on the back seat of Matiz and took her to the hill in Akbulok village, Fergana district. After that, he completely separated her head with a kitchen knife. The head was wrapped in a black cellophane bag and hung between a juniper tree on the side of the road in "Fayzabad" MFY, Altiariq district.
According to the conclusion of the forensic medical examination, the deceased died as a result of severe injuries and loss of blood.
The case was examined by the Koshtepa district court on criminal cases, and the verdict was read against the accused. The defendant was found guilty under Part 2 of Article 97 and Part 1 of Article 134 of the Criminal Code. He was sentenced to 13 years and 2 months in jail.
