The State Customs Service of Turkmenistan held a regular meeting of the interdepartmental commission on the implementation of the "Single window for export-import operations."
This agency is the manager and owner of the project.
"The participants discussed the issues of interaction of information systems of the ministries and agencies included in the project."
Experts told Daryo that the single window would avoid the need to submit relevant documents repeatedly.
According to them, Turkmenistan is implementing a national prototype of the ASYCUDA World integrated customs information system, which will be the platform for the Single Window project.
Turkmenistan has foreign trade relations with more than a hundred countries, the key being China, Italy, Turkey, Russia, UAE, Afghanistan, Kazakhstan, and Uzbekistan.
Official Ashgabat prioritizes projects to expand transport links between Central Asian countries with further access to markets in Europe, South-East Asia, and the Near and Middle East.
