The adviser to the head of the Office of the President of Ukraine, Mikhail Podoliak, opposed the statement of the leader of Belarus, Alexander Lukashenko, about the ceasefire in Ukraine. Podoliak posted the relevant message on his Twitter page on March 31.
According to Mikhail Podoliak, any truce means Russia's right to stay in the territories it occupied in Ukraine.
"This is absolutely unacceptable. Ukraine has the right to transfer troops and equipment to its territory as it wishes. The strange 'peacekeepers' (statement) looks ridiculous," - Podoliak wrote.
What did Lukashenko say about the war in Ukraine?
On March 31, the head of Belarus, Alexander Lukashenko, addressed the people and the parliament. The politician called on Russia and Ukraine to stop hostilities.
In his opinion, it is time to stop hostilities and declare a truce. Lukashenko said that he "always tried in a friendly way to return Zelensky to where he should be." The President of Belarus criticized Zelensky, saying that he "forbade himself to conduct peace talks".
