Currently, intergovernmental negotiations between Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, and Kazakhstan are underway regarding the terms of the Kambarata HPP-1 construction plan. 24.kg reports.
According to the source, preparations for the construction of the station are in full swing. Sites are now being erected for the construction of bridges, laying power lines, and digging tunnels. Another 40 units of special equipment are working on the construction of a 30-kilometre highway leading cargo to the hydroelectric power station.
A transport tunnel with a length of 126 meters along with a bridge will be erected connecting the two banks of the Naryn River.
Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, and Kazakhstan are discussing plans for the future, cooperation, and ways to build a hydroelectric power station. Apparently, the Russian side is also interested in participating in the project as the metal products are ordered from the Northern neighbour.
