Turkmenistan is one of the first countries that took action to help the victims of the February 6 earthquake in ten provinces of Turkey.
The diplomatic mission on Friday circulated a statement by Turkish Ambassador Togan Oral to journalists.

Around 30 tonnes of medical supplies were sent to Gaziantep with medical staff on 7 February 2023. More than 90 tonnes of medicines, clothes, and food were delivered to the disaster area on 10 February.
"Donations amounting to more than 3mn Turkish liras were deposited into a bank account opened by our embassy, well-meaning Turkmen citizens, and our citizens," Oral said.
The Women's Union of Turkmenistan and the Turkmen Red Crescent sent tents, heaters, generators, blankets, clothes, and food.
Oral expressed gratitude for Turkmenistan's brotherly solidarity in the process.
