March 6. Shavkat Mirziyoyev convened a meeting with the legislators of the Senate of the Oliy Majlis, the Supreme Court to discuss proposals for amendments and additions to the Constitution.
After a deliberate study of more than 200,000 public proposals, the final version of the draft Constitutional Law on Amendments and Additions to the Constitution had been prepared.
The draft contains the most important changes in the socio-economic, political spheres and public administration, before submitting the bill to a referendum, deputies consult with the subjects of legislative initiative, as defined in Article 83 of the Constitution.
This bill will be considered separately by the Constitutional Court.
