Since Uzbekistan's opening up to the world under president Shavkat Mirziyoyev the IT sphere has been developing rapidly. In 2019, the first IT Park in the country in cooperation with Indian specialists opened its doors in Tashkent under the initiative of Mirziyoyev.
In this short period of time, IT Park has already brought its first fruits in the form of 28 new startups, the creation of a dozen projects in the field of information technology, as well as training, workshops, and meetups to stimulate the youth interest in this area and develop computer literacy among the population.
Now, IT park is establishing the first IT community in Uzbekistan, which is to be located in Tashkent. The opening ceremony will be held on March 4 and 6 renowned speakers will give their speeches to the audience on secrets of success that will allow people to build their way to the top of the IT sphere. The speakers are:
- Alyona Vladimirskaya - the former HR manager of Mail.Ru Group and winner of the "HR Brand of the Year" award. She is called the main "headhunter" of Runet;
- Akmaljon Musayev - CEO of HyperApp, project manager and founder of startups, co-founder and head of the Gamefall project in Uzbekistan and the USA;
- Bobur Rajabov - technical entrepreneur, teacher, and CEO of EverbestLab;
- Leonid Cherny is the executive director of Uzum market, a well-known top manager who participated in the creation and development of products for such companies as MegaFon, Rambler, Yandex, and Mail.ru Group;
- Munira Bekmuradova is a senior software engineer and community leader at Toptal;
- Shavkat Karimov is the head of the IT Community of Uzbekistan, mentor, and investor.
