At least four Uzbek nationals were killed in Türkiye’s earthquake-hit provinces Malatya, Hatay, Kahramanmaraş, and Şanlıurfa, Uzbekistan Consulate General in Istanbul reports.
The death toll from last Monday's earthquakes in Türkiye has climbed to 29,605, the country's disaster agency was quoted by the Anadolu Agency as saying, bringing the total fatalities with neighboring Syria to over 33,000, with tens of thousands injured. Thousands of rescuers continued to search for any sign of life in collapsed multi-story buildings on the seventh day of the disaster.
