Shavkat Mirziyoyev ordered the government to establish the Tashkent Index complex as the main base for the collection of vital tools and products to be sent later to Turkey.
Based on this assignment, on February 11, Prime Minister Abdulla Aripov invited the Turkish ambassador Olgan Bekar to the 16,000-square-meter complex that boasts 21 warehouses.
"Our president has given the order to help the Turkish people. Delivering products to the affected areas of Turkey is a very difficult issue. At the same time, if the embassy presents a list of the most needed products, we will pass it to the sponsors and organize the delivery in accordance with the standards," the prime minister said.
The Turkish ambassador conveyed his deep gratitude to the Turkish side to the head of state and the people of Uzbekistan.
